Spinny Slots! is a story-driven, single-player progression game about starting at the absolute bottom and working your way into an increasingly ridiculous world of machines, money, and powerful rivals.

You begin in a junkyard, dragging trash bags into a dumpster for one dollar at a time. Then a mysterious phone call from none other than Rich Kid introduces you to your first slot machine, and suddenly, your ordinary job becomes the first step in a much bigger journey to become the best gambler.

Purchase tickets, discover new machines, upgrade your machines, and challenge the people standing between you and the next area. Every location introduces new machines and mechanics, taking you from the dilapidated equipment of the Junkyard to the neon technology of Metropolis and the extravagant machines of Sky Island, and more to come!

Spinny Slots! Uses fictional in-game currency only. There are no purchases, advertisements, cash-out systems, real-world prizes, or real-money wagering.

How to play

1. Earn your first money

Your journey begins in the Junkyard.

Hold the left mouse button over a trash bag, drag it into the dumpster, and release it inside the highlighted drop area. Every successful delivery earns $1.

Keep working until you have earned enough money to receive your first phone call.

2. Answer the phone

When the phone appears, click it or press P to answer.

Advance conversations using the left mouse button, Space, or Enter. Phone calls introduce new objectives, characters, areas, and challenges.

3. Purchase machine tickets

Each machine requires its own ticket, and every ticket provides one spin.

Choose a machine from the ticket shop, purchase one or more tickets, and select the machine you want to play. More expensive machines offer larger potential payouts and increasingly unusual mechanics.

Use the ? button beside a machine to read its rules/features before spending your tickets.

4. Spin and collect payouts

After selecting a machine, press SPIN.

Matching symbols and machine-specific combinations award fictional currency. Each machine displays its symbols, payout values, and special rules so you can understand what happened during a spin.

Some machines are straightforward. Others may let you select a reel, build charges across multiple spins, reroll symbols, trigger cascading matches, or protect weak results.

5. Purchase upgrades

Use your earnings to improve three permanent attributes:

• Luck increases your chances of landing rarer symbols.
• Multiplier increases eligible payouts.
• Spin Speed reduces the time taken by reel animations.

6. Challenge the bosses

Continue earning money and answering calls until an area’s rival becomes available.

Before a battle, choose three different power-ups and review your complete loadout. Active power-ups can be used before your spin, while passive power-ups trigger automatically when their conditions are met.

Boss battles use temporary scores and do not spend tickets from your normal inventory:

• The Junk King battle lasts 10 rounds.
• The Kingpin battle lasts 15 rounds.
• The contestant with the highest total payout wins.
• Ties continue into sudden death.
• You cannot leave after confirming and starting a battle.

Defeating a boss rewards you and unlocks the next area. Losing does not erase your permanent upgrades or story progress, and you can prepare before trying again.

7. Travel between areas

Open Map Select from the HUD to revisit any area you have unlocked. Returning to an earlier area can help you earn money, purchase upgrades, or prepare for another challenge.

Controls

Spinny Slots! is primarily designed for mouse input.

• Left mouse button: Select buttons, purchase tickets and upgrades, spin machines, activate power-ups, and drag trash bags
• Left click, Space, or Enter: Reveal or advance dialogue
• P: Answer an available phone call
• Escape: Close the settings, map, or machine-information window
• Mouse movement: Hover over machines and power-ups to view additional information
